Allied Waste and RethinkWaste will be teaming up with member communities to give away compost this Spring.  The compost is made from local residential yard trimmings and composted at our Newby Island facility.  Residents will be able to take up to 1 cubic yard of compost (about six full garbage cans) at no charge from selected locations as long as supply lasts.
